How to request deletion
- Send an email to joshi.shivansh01@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Mitr Family Care App account.
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
- Include enough information for us to identify your account, such as your registered email address and name.
We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before processing the deletion request.
What data will be deleted
After a verified request, we will delete or de-identify the data associated with your account from active systems where reasonably possible, including:
- account profile information such as your name and email address;
- caregiving profile information you entered in the app;
- family member and care-recipient information stored for app use;
- reminders, care-plan entries, and related app content linked to your account;
- stored push-notification tokens associated with your account; and
- voice-note or audio metadata associated with your account, where applicable.
What data may be retained
We may retain limited information after account deletion where retention is required for legitimate business or legal reasons, including:
- security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, and audit records;
- records needed to comply with legal, regulatory, tax, or dispute-resolution obligations; and
- temporary encrypted backups that are automatically rotated out in the normal course of operations.
Retention period
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days.
Residual backup copies and limited compliance or security records may be retained for up to 90 days after the deletion request is completed, or longer where required by law.
